(this was not edited so sorry if you find a mistake)
It was Friday and I did not have to go to school and can you guess why? Ding ding ding you’re right, I went to Vegas for the weekend baby! I wake up tired but obviously more excited than usual because I was leaving the state. My things were packed and ready to go but first, before we loaded anything into some sort or transportation, we had to go drop off our car at my nina’s and pick up a rental one. A few complications occurred but it’s all good.
After loading up the car with our belongings, we start off on the road. I was in charge of music because my music is hella lit, well in my opinion it is. Anyways, I admire views as we zoom past different cities through California. I wish I had a photo to share but sadly I didn’t take any. Hours pass by and usually I would be asleep halfway through the car ride but surprisingly I was still up jamming out to some bangers.
An almost six hour trip later, we arrived to Las Vegas. I was super stoked for everything at that point. We check in, get our stuff, and head up to our room. The room was pretty spacey and I felt like a queen. For the first few hours that my family and I were there for, we just stayed in bed watching some TV until my mom suggested we do something. That suggestion was insisting that we go to eat.
Hell’s Kitchen!! Shout out to the iconic dude himself, Gordon Ramsey. Guess what though, I did not eat here but I wish. The next reservation there would be until Tuesday, it was Saturday when we asked. Anyways, back to the events on Friday, we went to go eat at a 50s diner looking restaurant called Steak n’ Shake. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT, IT IS SOO GOOD AND I RATE IT A 10 OUT OF 10. After eating we cruised around the hotel and checked out what they had there and that was pretty much it for the first day.
On saturday we went to the strip later on in the day. I saw such amazing sites and everything looked so beautiful.
We went into different hotels and at some point we experienced the weirdest food. It was totally not what I had in mind to snack on but that’s okay because we ended up eating something different, AKA Buffalo Wild Wings. Let me tell you, that ish was amazing!!!!
Just to let you know, before we had that whole food situation, we went into Caesar’s Palace and saw some cool architecture.
To some that whole day up, it was super awesome and I want to go back and not be at school.
On sunday, there was a cheer competition, it was the second round of Aloha Championships. I watched teams perform with cool stunts, routines, and flips. My sister came on and I swear I could have lost my voice within five seconds of screaming but I didn’t. She did so well, it was a proud sister moment.
She’s center of this picture. Amazing isn’t it? Awards came around and they placed third, which is not completely bad out of the teams they were up and running against.
This her and her coach. After this, we went to the room and changed into something more comfortable and decided what we wanted to pool. The original plan as to go to the pool, but that didn’t happen because 3/4 people’s minds changed. Which made the 1/4 furious. Instead we went to eat at the buffet, I felt so fat but it was worth it. Well at least somewhat. When we finished eating went went to the arcade upstairs and after the arcade we went bowling. I did horribly at first but I bounced back and took that dub out of all the girls.
Midnight came around and we were all tired so we headed back up to our room. I went to sleep and then boom. the next thing you know it is eight in the morning and your mom is packing up her stuff and then tells you to do the same. I am not ready to go back home yet but it is what it is.
A five and a half hour ride later, were back in the city I live in. All I can say is, viva Las Vegas and may I go back sometime soon.
Have you ever been to Vegas? Tell me about it, leave a comment!
